Terms of Service
By using our services, you understand and agree to the following:
- You are eighteen (18) years of age or older.
- You will provide a blood and urine sample at a Test Center.
- You agree that any lab test purchased from STD Test Express is for informational and educational purposes only, and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment in any way. This Site does not replace the services of licensed health care professionals. All site users should consult with a physician regarding their health concerns, particularly if you are experiencing any signs or symptoms. For medical advice, diagnosis and treatment, we partner with a network of physicians who are trained in telemedicine and are available for consultation 7 days a week.
- A physician will review your test request, order the test(s), receive a copy of and release your results.
- You are only being tested for the sexually transmitted diseases or infections on the order form, and not for all possible sexually transmitted diseases or infections.
- If your test results are positive, we may ask you to supply a name and address to abide by your state's Department of Public Health legal requirements. By law, they cannot compromise your confidentiality.
- While the tests are highly specific and highly sensitive, there is statistical possibility of a false-positive or false-negative result.
- It is possible to have an "indeterminate" test result for a variety of reasons. Follow-up testing is recommended to provide confirmation.
- You release and hold harmless the Company from any injury or personal damage that occurs while you are on Patient Service Center (PSC) premises.
- You agree to not violate the copyright protection of all images, text, audio, video and animations on this Site.
- You agree to not use this Site for illegal purposes.
- We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information, text, graphics, audio, video, animations, links or other items contained on the Site. Any of the information offered on the Site may change at any time without notice.
- You understand that you are required to speak with a doctor if results indicate you are positive for anything other than Herpes 1 (HSV-1)
- You understand that you will not receive a doctors consultation if you are only positive for Herpes 1 (HSV-1), but a counselor will be available to answer any questions you may have.
Cancellations, order changes, or questions:
Your order can be cancelled or changed prior to your test center visit. To cancel your order, request a full refund or change your order, please contact us. We cannot, however, refund after 21 days from receipt of payment.
I have read the previous information and I understand it. By checking the box on the order form, I acknowledge that I have been given all of the information that I have requested concerning the lab tests and the release of results.
I acknowledge that I have given my consent for the performance of an HIV blood test, and the release of the results as described above.
