ONE Condoms launches annual design contest

ONE Condoms is now accepting submissions for the fifth annual Design ONE contest, which challenge participants to design artwork that will be featured on its products' wrappers. In addition to their winning design, the top artist will be awarded $1,000, a year's supply of ONE condoms, 5,000 condoms donated to a health organization of their choice and their artist profile on ONEcondoms.com.

Public can vote for submitted designs through the company's website, and then the top choices will go through five rounds of voting by the contest's panel of judges.

Last year's winning artwork featured an apple with a slogan that read 'ONE a Day', and the artist was honored for their creative usage of the expression to promote practicing safe sex.

David Wedel, president of the condom manufacturer, stated that "we're always looking for fun and interesting ways to encourage people to think about safer sex. He added that "we love seeing our consumers' great ideas, and they get better every year."

July 31, 2011 is the last day entries will be accepted.
